Once, the mighty god Ra sailed across the sky, his golden chariot blazing with light. As he reached the horizon, he paused, looking at the earth below. The people watched in awe as the sun began to dip, painting the sky in hues of red and gold.
Ra spoke softly, "In every sunset, I lay down my light, just as I lay down the burdens of the day. The darkness that follows is not an end, but a promise. Just as the night holds the stars, so does the sunset hold the hope of a new dawn."
And so, as Ra's chariot disappeared beneath the earth, the people understood: every sunset was both a closing and a beginning, a gift of renewal from the god who illuminated their lives.
